As a survivor of a severe burn incident at the age of one and half, Ever transformed this traumatic experience into inspiration for his work. This led to the creation of the Quillbur book series.
The book introduces readers to the vibrant world of Quillbur Pine and his best friend Stinker Peeyuh, as they embark on adventures filled with laughter, mystery, puzzles and the power of friendship.
After all the help Ever received in his own recovery from the caring healthcare professionals in California and Utah, he has pledged to donate a portion of all book proceeds to the non-profits that helped him. These groups dedicate their efforts to helping burn survivors everyday. His biggest hope is to give back to the community and organizations that helped him during the hardest times of his life and to support others facing similar challenges.
